FIVE IDEAS FOR RECYCLING & REUSING YOUR CANDLE JARS - ILLUMISCENTS CANDLES

I genuinely believe that may be a tree-hugger’s battle cry but our environment needs us now more than ever before. The truth of the matter is, your efforts don’t have to be extremist! You can make an impact by reusing and repurposing your beloved IllumiScents Candles right at home. Besides, if not for the environment, do it for the sheer fun of it. Let’s explore five ideas for recycling and reusing your candle jars. 

We’re going to explore the following five; a candy holster, cotton tray, arts and crafts holster, paperweight for the home office, and house plant jar.

CANDY HOLSTER

What better way to reuse your sweetly scented jar than to offer a sweet treat to a friend or a guest? Be sure to clean the jar first! Now that we’ve mentioned it, you can blow dry your candle for a few minutes to melt the wax from the sides and base. Be sure to thoroughly clean the jar. As a precautionary tip, ensure that all the candies are individually wrapped. 

COTTON TRAY

For all my make-up lovers, ensuring that your cotton pads are within reach each morning and or evening whether in prep and prime or after a long day for makeup removal and skin renewal, I’d say being able to cleanse with ease is key. Our candle jars can act as a repurposed cotton tray. The bonus is being able to seal the jar and protect your pads from being contaminated by dust particles.
